Users without smartcard

Here you will find, as a user WITHOUT a smartcard, helpful information and support articles for using your FED-LOGIN. This includes in particular instructions on how to upgrade your FED-LOGIN and increase the authentication level in order to use, for example, GEVER applications. You will also receive support for managing as well as recovering your login methods (FED-LOGIN Access App and security key).

Recovery FED-LOGIN-Upgrade totally smartcardless
If you have already used FED-LOGIN totally smartcardless but can no longer use any of the registered login methods (FED-LOGIN Access App or security key), please proceed as follows:

  1. Open a support request with the Service Desk at BIT to reset your FED-LOGIN.
  2. Your FED-LOGIN account will be reset as part of the processing.
  3. You will be informed once your account has been successfully reset.
  4. After the reset, please follow the corresponding instructions to FED-LOGIN-Upgrade totally smartcardless register again.
